I have been disciplined in my quiet time since my "pit experience" and it has literally transformed me. I say this humbly, very humbly. Each morning, I read from Beth Moores "Praying God's Word Day-By-Day" and I am currently reading the devotional book "Experienceing God Day-by-Day". they are both short reads. I follow that with scripture reading-at least one chapter per day. Today I started 1 Corinthians. I finished Isaiah and that has become one of my favorite books in the Bible. I love how God arranges for these short reading to tie together. I know He is really speaking to me then!! I conclude my quiet time by journaling back the scripture that really spoke to me in prayer format to God.

I wish I was better at scripture memorization. My husband and I pray together before we go to work and I talk to God t/o the day but I would like to be more of a prayer warrior. My favorite place for my devotionals is in my red paisley chair or outdoors in nature.

My days are just not the same if I miss a quiet time so those are few and far between. I can't get enough time really. I spend as much time as I can reading Cristian books-I have to commit times for this. I have listed my favorite books on my blog site.

The more we are in tune to Him the more we will become like Him-that's transformation!!
God Bless!
