Tears

You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8 NLT

Today I made a discovery and I just love it Father when you show me Yourself in a new way. I love it when you lead me to my determined purpose to know you more intimately and deeply. Even though I have read this scripture before it didn’t resonate with me until today when I read it in a different version of Your word. Father it gives me great joy to know You care for me so much you have kept track of all my sorrows, but it moves me beyond words to know you have collected all my tears in Your very own bottle and You have written each one of them in Your book. Lord how you continue to amaze me, this is You again quieting me with your Love. How You must love us Father, this ranks high my God and Lord.

Have you ever imagine God collecting your every sorrow and your every tear and placing them in a bottle, a bottle I choose to believe is similar to the Jar of Alabaster Mary anointed Jesus feet. Your sorrows and tears have become sacred, precious oil kept by God for you. Come use your holy imagination with me. Can you imagine when you arrive in heaven God might take this precious bottle and anoint your feet, sanctifying you for all eternity? Giving you an aroma of a sweet smelling perfume, perhaps your favorite fragrance, which will seep into every space you walk. A fragrance particularly your own, reflecting your characteristic and none other that God will know it is you moving in the atmosphere. He calls to you daughter of devotion come and sup with me for a while. You daughter of love let us walk along the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. You daughters of Grace, Mercy and Peace come receive your crown of splendor. My daughter of truth come, I shall bring you to my holy mountain, to the place where I dwell. Daughter of humility draw closer for you learned to walk humbly now you shall experience glory. My sweet daughters of faith enter the throne area in the full light of God.

Women of God precious are our tears to God; they are not forgotten but placed in sacred keeping, becoming a sweet fragrance to the Lord. Have you set at Jesus feet today, have you poured your worship upon Him with your perfumed tears?

Deeper I want to know you Lord

May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice. Psalm 141:2

Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. John 12:3

For I wrote you out of great distress and anguish of heart and with many tears, not to grieve you but to let you know the depth of my love for you.
2 Corinthians 2:4

I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, Acts 20:19 a

It is something amazing, something uncomprehendable to me. He cares for us THAT much. And He cares for EACH of us that much. God IS SOOOO good to us and His love is so huge and precious.
Thank you for the reminder that God is great and so compassionate about us.
