How are you carrying Jesus?

I love pictures which speak to my heart, for pictures speak many things to the eye of the beholder. This same picture spoke to me a few days ago about holiness and than as I gazed upo it again the Lord spoke to me yet again. So I post it again with the following thoughts. Be blessed and share what is spoken to your heart.

Jesus lovingly carried our sin to Calvary. Before leaving He asked the Father to make us one with them. He desired us to walk in the image in which we had been created. My question today is how am I carrying Jesus? I pray you will ask this question with me.

Am I carrying Him with love? Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5 (NIV), But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! Matthew 5:44(NLT)

Am I carrying Jesus with kindness? We have proved ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, our sincere love, and the power of the Holy Spirit. 2Corinthians 6:6

Am I carrying Jesus humbly? She must be well respected by everyone because of the good she has done. Has she brought up her children well? Has she been kind to strangers? Has she served other Christians humbly? Has she helped those who are in trouble? Has she always been ready to do good? 1 Timothy 5:10 (NLT)

Am I carrying Jesus with wisdom? And this is what he says to all humanity: 'The fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding.'" (Job 28:28),A person's words can be life-giving water; words of true wisdom are as refreshing as a bubbling brook. (Proverbs 18:4)6:18

Am I carrying Jesus generously? Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and should give generously to those in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given them. (1 Timothy 6:18), As the Scriptures say, "Godly people give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will never be forgotten." (2 Corinthians 9:9)

When my life is put on trail, will it pass judgement? Will others say they truly see Jesus in me? My life is the sermon of Christ, it reflect Him and to Him I must not bring shame, I must not turn others off from Him but I must show in all my actions Jesus is real, Jesus overflows with love, kindness, wisdom, and generousity. Unless these characteristics flow from me, my sermon is meaningless and does nothing for the kingdom. We are called to plant seeds which God will water and grow through the Holy Spirit. Today is a great day to preach a sermon, preach through action, painting a picture of Christ which speaks a thousands words letting the loudest one be SAVIOR.

This is a really good post. Every time I think I am doing a good job I am humbled to find that, even on my very best days, I could be doing so much more and so much better. I guess it's a constant seeking and striving to be in His will doing good works so that His glory shines through and that, although we never get it "right," we have to keep trying. For me anyway.
