Thoughtful Monday

Give thought to the words of God and consider what God would have you to do to carry out His message.

Since God chose you to be the holy women (paraphrased) whom he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
You must make allowance for each other's faults and forgive the person who offends you.
And the most important piece of clothing you must wear is love. Love is what binds us all together in perfect harmony.
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in your hearts and make you wise. Use his words to teach and counsel each other. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. Colossians 3:12-16

What clothes are you wearing today?
Are these clothes pleasing to God? Do they meet His standard of dress?

Which clothes are you missing? What steps do you neeed to take to add these clothes to your wardrobe and than what steps are required by you to ensure daily you dress according to God's word.

Heavenly Father, it is my desire to be fully dress in the garments of Christ. Help me to clothe myself in those things that reflect your goodness. Father help me not only to dress in garments of tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, peace and most of all love but help me to wear them with style that You will be glorified and lifted up. My Lord let my clothing bring others crying to be a part of Your kingdom. I give thanks for Your word and for your good guidance. My prayer Lord is to reflect You at all times. In the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen

This is another post that has my mind and heart pondering all day.
I feel as though this is something that everyday I have to look at myself, through and through.
Your writings always seem to touch me in a very special way, and I can tell you are touched as well.
