Abba Father

Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths, guide me in your truth and teach me for you are God my savior, and my hope is in you all day long Psalm 25:4

Life can be confusing and challenging. There are days when we don’t know which way to turn or how to proceed as our loving Father would have us. Our goals, hopes and dreams seem unreachable. The struggle gets hard and we cry “I give up” no more I will just stay where I am and let life move on. God you tell me to have courage and be strong, but every time I showed my strength, the world knocks me back down. Lord You said I’m more than a conqueror, every obstacle conqueror brings another. The enemy is at me on every side but I refuse to give him any kind of victory, he thinks he has me because I cried “I give up”. He believes all my hope is gone. How wrong he is for no matter how many times I cry out, no matter how many times my steps go backward rather than forward I still hope in the Lord. For when I am weak He is yet strong. From deep within the winds change directions and I hear a quiet still voice and a quiet word reach my heart, I enter the throne room and I commune with my God. He consoles my spirit and brings me back to His reality. For His thoughts are higher than my thoughts. No I will not go out less than, I was meant for more and I won’t cut myself short, for if I do so will you. Into His holy presence I make my way and I offer praise to my God, He accepts my praise and I offer worship, He takes me to a place where my strength is renewed, my hope moves beyond the ordinary and together we lift one another but no matter how high I lift Him, He lifts me higher, I truly begin to understand you can’t beat God’s giving no matter how hard you try. Empty and yet full I offer one last prayer “Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths, guide me in your truth and teach me for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” From His immediate presence I move more than a conqueror, ready to show the world who’s my Daddy.

Prayer
Abba Father, in you alone my Lord I put my hope, You are my strength, my strong tower, no other refuge I seek for none other can provide what Your love, grace and mercy gives. Thank You Abba Father to Your Holy Name I set my lips to praise. Your praise shall be upon my heart and my mouth all the day long. Thank You Father for You inhabits the praise of Your people. Your guidance, Your way and Your Holy will I seek. Teach me Lord Your truth and help me to walk in it all the day long. In the Name of my Lord, My Savior Jesus the Christ I pray. Amen

Dig Deeper

Psalm 37:40
And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Psalm 25 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul; in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.6 Remember, O Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O Lord.
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your name, O Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. Who, then, is the man that fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish. Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins. See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me! Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you. Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!

Great post! Our loving heavenly Father makes us more than conquerors. May we seek and find our daddy while He reveals Himself to us, while there's still time. So often your blogs are the cry of my own heart in one way or another.
