Christ Alone

Lord, you alone are my
inheritance,
my cup of blessing.
You guard all that is mine. The land you have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance.
I will bless the LORD who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rest in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Psalm 16:5-11

My Cup
These verses reveal how God has become my inheritance. In my cup (God) I find Protection, Heaven, Guidance, Companionship, Strength, A glad heart, Joy, Safe Rest, a Savior, Preserver,Instruction, Pleasures, God’s Presence, and Life eternal.

What blessings in my cup, but the blessing I most cherish is the Lord Himself is mine, my very own. The Lord is my greatest possession, what a treasure I claim, the Lord, Creator of all things. He looked upon me and saw my greatest need, "Him" and "Him alone" so to me He came and gave Himself for me. I became His passion. He hung upon an old rugged cross for me but He didn’t stop there He kept me in His mind and took care of my every need. He became my Shepherd and I shall not want for anything. It is all in Christ. He fills my cup, He is my cup.

The LORD is my shepherd; I have everything I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You welcome me as a guest, anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.
