My Soul Yearns

In the night and at dawn, I have this longing.

My soul yearns for You in the night.
In the morning my spirit longs for You. Isaiah 26:9a

Unfulfilled and seeking to be filled. Lord fill me not with the fake treasures of this world but with heavenly treasures. Fill me with godliness. Pour into me Holy Spirit goodness, righteousness, holiness. Fill me with Your good pleasures Lord that I may be a sweet smelling fragrance rising to Your throne. Fill me with boldness, giving me quiet confidence radiating from a gentle spirit. Fill me Lord with Yourself, stay near to me for my soul cries out for You and my spirit seeks You. Peace does not come until I feel You close by, grace and mercy flows only when You are in the lead. Love abounds when You surround me with Yourself. I long for You Lord, I thirst for You, Lord I need You like a wilting rose needs water, like the darkness need light, like a parched land calls for rain. I need You Lord! You are my soul need! God my soul need!

Hey Sis..
I am working on a song from Isaiah 26:9 I will share it with you when I done. This scripture had been one of my soul cries.
You are such a beautiful sister and a kindred spirit with my spirit. I will always and forever be so gratful to the Lord for allowing us to find one another. You know when I was diagnosed with my illness I could never understand how God would continue to be able to use me, and he constantly amazes me each day as he gives me the his strength for the journey and through this journey I have met such awesome sistah's such as you.

Luv ya Lorie

What a beautiful conversation with our Father! "As a deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, oh God." Psalm 42:1. I live by a creek (hence the name of my blog), and we have deer who stand in the middle of the creek, blowing and chuffing after running down the hill. And then, they dip their muzzles deeply into the clear, cold water, and they are filled.... and so it is with God.
Thanks so much for dropping by my blog..
