Thankful Thursdays

Today I give thanks for Women who have help me draw closer to God, teaching me valuable lessons in developing a relationship with God, my Father and God my Savior and God the Holy Spirit.

Thank you “Woman at the Well” because of you I know because I believe I will never thirst, for I am filled with a fresh bubbling spring giving me eternal life.

Thank You Mary of Bethany for you taught me to take my very best, my most costly possession and make a sacrificial offering to my Lord. You taught me the most important thing I do is set at the feet of my Savior and learn of Him, filling myself with Him.

Thank you woman with the Issue of Blood, for you taught me to have faith. All I must do is reach out and touch Him, knowing my afflictions will be healed. You taught me never to let the crowd stop me, but always choose to make my way to Jesus.

Thank you Adulterous Woman for you taught me Jesus looks beyond my faults and sees my need. He sees I am a sinner in need of forgiveness. Though my forgiveness comes at a costly price He stood before my accuser and declared me innocent.

Thank You Esther for showing me preparation is necessary to enter the Presence of my King. Preparation of heart, spirit, mine and soul are needed for me to present myself as a living sacrifice to my King. Right preparation stills fear and helps me to push my own selfish desires behind me.

Thank you Deborah for teaching me I can be a warrior and a woman. I am a warrior for Christ, fighting injustices of the enemy as I help hurting women find hope and peace and true love in the Living God.

Thank you Martha for you introduced me to the Resurrection and the Life; Jesus the only path to the Father and eternal life.

Thank You Sinner Woman for teaching me true worship, pouring out my love from deep within, showering Jesus with all my adoration. My tears of sorrows must wash His loving feet which bore nails for my sake. My hair of repentance must dry His weary feet which carried my cross of salvation. My lips of praise must lift His glorious Name high for He did not stay dead but lives that I might live, my praise shares His wonders that others may live in Him. “If I be lifted up I’ll draw all men (women) unto me.”

Thank you to all the women God has allowed to be in my life as mentors, teachers, and role models. You have taught me what a Godly woman looks like and you have worn the garments of Christ so beautifully and this include every woman who has visited “Broken Vessels” and whose sight I have visited for I learn from all of you and I am ever grateful.

My prayer
My Lord and my God today I give thanks to You for Your great blessings. Into my life you have brought many women to teach and guide me. Like me they were and are far from perfect but like me they love you because you first loved them. You poured out Your love in such glorious ways. Today Lord you continue to pour out your love upon me by bringing godly women into my life, I thank you, and
I offer You praise for such virtuous women, for they are more precious than rubies. Their lights shine like diamonds and they are all worthy jewels in Your glorious crown. Some are with me for only a short season, some have more to teach me and will be with me for a longer season. Whatever their purpose may I learn every lesson they bring. I ask Your great blessings upon them, pour from heaven riches that they may look to You and shout hallelujah! In Jesus Great Name I PRAY. Amen!

This is marvelous! I can't wait to pull out my Bible and study these women. Interestingly, Esther was a part of the Bible study exercise I did last night. Her part of the study was only a few verses but she so fascinated me by her willingness to do what was asked of her that I read a whole lot more! Thanks so much!
