Thankful Thursdays

Today I give thanks because God takes great delight in me, quiets me with His love and rejoice over me with singing.
The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

I give thanks because God will not forget me He has inscribed me on the palm of His hand.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Isaiah 49:16

I give thanks because no one and no power can snatch me from the Hand of God. I am His.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. John 10:28

I give thanks because I have eternal life through the shed blood of Jesus.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

I give thanks for joy which comes after all weeping.
His anger lasts for a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may go on all night, but joy comes with the morning.
Psalm 30:5


I give thanks because God’s goodness, and love pursue me and I will dwell in the Lord’s House forever.

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6

I give thanks for the wonderful wisdom of God which He freely gives generously to me when I ask.
But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the mighty power of God and the wonderful wisdom of God. 1Co 1:24

I give thanks because I am pure and holy through Christ.
God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and he gave himself to purchase our freedom. 1Co 1:30

I give thanks because I can cling to Jesus ever trusting Him and because He is my High Priest now setting at the Right Hand of God.
That is why we have a great High Priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God. Let us cling to him and never stop trusting him. Heb 4:14
