WFW-Comfort

When doubts filled my mind, Your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. Psalm 94:19 The Message

How our thoughts can sometimes lead us to places we rather not be, but we often find ourselves lingering there. We want to leave but some unknown force keeps us there until we find ourselves in a sea of self-doubt, or sinking into a pool called “no confidence”. Some times we may even find ourselves floating in the river of “mistrust” and then there are moments where we are in the big ocean where pain, hurt, shame, guilt, denial, rejection, confusion and a multitude of afflictions float in and around us. We reach for the shoreline but it seems to moves further away the more we struggle to swim towards it, always just out of reach. Our thoughts can place us in dirty, murky waters and we try to take control and cast away these wicked thoughts because we are daughters of the King and we know better, but the force just won’t let go and we continue to linger. We linger until our soul says enough, no more and we allow it to open to our Refuge and Strength, our mighty Fortress. Once open the waves begin to recede, we can breathe. With each breathe God pours into us. He pours His word, and with His word comes strength, with strength comes, confidence and wisdom closely following another breath and I am comforted; delight fills my soul; I am hopeful yet again because Thy has comforted my soul.

Hi Sis!!!
((((Hugz))) I have missed you so !! I'm sorry it's been a crazy couple of weeks, I think I took too much on my plate (sigh) but praise the Lord I'm okay now and can resume back to blogging and resting. My dear husband was listening to the music on your blog and he really loved it. In fact I think he is going to use the one you have playing now for our worship team. He is blessed to write out music, compose, and play the piano with such an anointing. I can't wait till I learn how to put our own music on my blog oneday. I enjoyed this post you are such a blessing to me and I love our sisterness!!!
