WFW- Courage with God

Sometimes God calls us to move in a direction which brings fear to our hearts. The fear come usually because of lack of faith in self and because we can’t see the outcome. We don’t lack faith in God but we have little faith in self. We have yet to learn no matter how many times God shows Himself trustworthy it is about us moving out of spaces of comfort. We truly want to be obedient to the Lord but past failures, and doubts kick in overpowering past successes. God knows our every thought, He knows our hearts better than we do and because of His great love He steps in the midst of our reluctance with words of comfort. He knows just how to strengthen us for His calling. Is God calling you today? Are you letting the negatives of days long gone keep you from stepping forward? Do you have visions of “them” in your eyes? Move my sister in faith knowing God will never call you to a path in which He will not walk before you. Be STRONG and COURAGEOUS do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you, He will never leave you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

Amen!!!
Satan's number one tool indeed. But greater is he that is in us than he who is in the world. I can't tell how many people are in bondage of fear and they know no other kind of life. Fear is like a root that spreads like a disease.
This is a great post and reminder!
Luv ya Sis

This has been a family motto for us over the past year. It is beautifully illustrated!

Living in Uganda, I'm often pushed outside of my comfort zone, but studying Beth Moore's 'Living Beyond Yourself' has been a timely reminder of just how much we need to live in the Spirit and do all things through Him who strengthens us. Thanks for your inspirational words! Happy WFW!
